About Stragent Dog Park
Metropolitan cities have off-leash dog parks--mid-size cities like Longview typically don't. Well, Longview isn't "typical!" In August, 2010, the Longview City Council voted to name a new off-leash dog park "Stragent Dog Park!" Adding to the vitality of our community, pets and their owners enjoy the benefit of 3 fenced acres for small dogs and 6 fenced acres for large dogs enabling exercise, socialization and the beauty of Longview's piney woods! Find Stragent Dog Park on the Paul Boorman Trail between Loop 281 and H.G. Mosley Parkway.
